The Forrest Graperide
The award winning Forrest Grape Ride is the biggest road cycling event in the South Island. Set in the wine growing region of Marlborough the course traverses a 101km circuit through some of the most stunning scenery New Zealand has to offer including a 40 kilometer stretch of the world renowned Marlborough Sounds. Witness the spectacular 100 virgins grape crush of 3 tonne of pinot grapes and join in the festivities and party atmosphere on completion of the ride back at the picturesque Forrest Estate.

The Moa Beer Moa Hunt
The Moa Beer Moa Hunt is a 40km mountain biking event. It starts and finishes at the acclaimed Kekerengu Store just north of Kaikoura on the Pacific Coast. There is an additional 21km short course for beginner riders or the not so fit MTBer. This 21km course also doubles as a challenging 21km mountain run. You will not be disappointed by stunning contrasting scenery of the Pacific Coast and within minutes of high country outback New Zealand! Olympian cycle rider Robin Reid said " The course and views were wicked". Come join the rest of the Moa Hunter riders and runners at this fabulous and well established event in search of that elusive moa bird, or is it a beer!

The MudHouse Mudride
This event has been postponed!
The Mud House Mud Ride is a mountain bike event for every level of MTB from the kids and beginners to the pro/elite riders. The ride starts and finishes at the magnificent Mud House Winery and Cafe situated just 45 minutes from Christchurch in the Waipara District and uses land situated to the east of vineyard. After a quick dash through the vines and you are out onto a private farm and heading toward the east to the Pacific Coast. With an elevation of no higher than 400m on the long course you experience 360 degree views of the Pacific Coast and Southern Alps which are simply breath taking. This is all on one big organically run farm which also has the most spectacular limestone formations. There will be two courses of 20km and 40km in length to choose from. The inaugural event will be on the 24th of April 2010 and entries will open August 2009. We can't wait to kick this one off!

Brazier Properties Girls On Bikes
The Brazier Properties Girls on Bikes is a women's only road cycling event. Set in the iconic Canterbury township of Methven the options of a 37km or 76km course will cater for every level of cycling from the absolute beginner right through to the elite athlete with recreational and registered rider categories.
The post event celebrations will begin with the "Girls on Bikes Life Guard Competition" followed by prize giving where loads of fantastic prizes will be given away along with acknowledgement of the place getters.
The evening extravaganza is "The Outrageous Night Out with Robyn Malcolm" features wine and cheese tasting, fashion show, wine making guru Jules Taylor and of course a catch-up with one of New Zealand's top actresses Robyn Malcolm.
The following day Methven puts on one of its famous "Methven Market Day's "
